NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - The Tennessee Titans have signed outside linebacker Andy Studebaker and have waived wide receiver Clyde Gates.

Studebaker, 29, played 13 games last season for the Indianapolis Colts. He spent the last two seasons with Indianapolis after spending five seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs.

Studebaker, who is 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds, has 94 games of NFL experience.

The Titans had three linebackers injured Friday in a 31-24 preseason loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Yannick Cudjoe-Virgil and Zaviar Gooden hurt their hamstrings and J.R. Tavai had a knee injury. Titans coach Ken Whisenhunt said Sunday that none of the three would play in the Titans’ second preseason game against the St. Louis Rams.
