COLUMBIA, Md. (AP) - Howard County Police have arrested 12 people they say are part of an organized group that travels the East Coast selling nitrous oxide at concerts.

Officers arrested the 12 at Saturday’s Phish concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia. Police say they also seized 32 nitrous oxide tanks, a large amount of cash and two cars.

Investigators say officers saw teams of the suspects selling nitrous oxide around the pavilion in in the parking lots.

Nitrous oxide, also known as laughing gas, can be inhaled to get the user high.
