ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police say two women were seriously injured when a car collided with a school bus.

None of the five children on the bus was hurt. The students, ages 5 to 9, were on a bus from Ames Visual and Performing Arts Elementary.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports (https://bit.ly/1hlagjP ) witnesses told police the car pulled into the path of the school bus Monday evening. Both vehicles were spun around and the car appeared to be demolished.

The two women’s names were not released. Police said they were taken to St. Louis University Hospital. Their conditions were not available.
