PITTSBURGH (AP) - A speeding stolen car has crashed in Pittsburgh, injuring four people, including two children.

Police say the chase began shortly before midnight Monday in either Stowe Township or McKees Rocks, neighboring suburbs just west of the city.

Pittsburgh police were advised of the chase, but it was unclear whether city officers had joined in before the car crashed on Route 51 near the base of Mount Washington.

Emergency dispatchers say the car was traveling faster than 100 mph.

Dispatchers say the two kids, ages 11 and 13, were believed to be in serious condition when taken to hospitals.
