PORTSMOUTH, Va. (AP) - The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Eagle will be opened up for public tours in Portsmouth.

The tall ship is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday and will be open for public tours on Thursday.

The ship will be moored behind Portsmouth City Hall. Tours will be free.

The Eagle is the only active square-rigger in U.S. government service. The Eagle was taken by the United States from Germany as a war reparation following World War II.
