CORALVILLE, Iowa (AP) - A Coralville man accused of knowingly spreading HIV to a person faces additional charges.

Iowa City police say 34-year-old Adam D. Musser is charged with criminal transmission of an infectious disease. The Iowa City Press-Citizen reports (https://icp-c.com/1Nr2FMy ) he is accused of having unprotected sex with a woman five times between May and June. Authorities say he told the woman, who was not infected, that he was disease-free.

Earlier this month, Musser was charged with criminal transmission of an infectious disease after he allegedly had unprotected sex in June and July with another woman more than 40 times and told her he was disease-free

An attorney representing Musser in at least one of the cases did not immediately return a message left Tuesday.
