PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Jury deliberations resume Wednesday in the murder trial of a man charged in the Valentine’s Day shooting deaths of his ex-girlfriend and another young woman in northeastern Philadelphia more than four years ago.

The Philadelphia Inquirer https://bit.ly/1E3F16u ) reports that jurors spent about 3½ hours considering the case Tuesday following closing arguments in the trial of 32-year-old Shaun Warrick.

Warrick is charged in the deaths of 21-year-old Marcedes Ivery and 19-year-old Tiffany Barnhill, who were found shot in a rented house in February 2011.

Defense attorney Jack McMahon has argued that no witnesses or physical evidence link his client to the slaying and there is evidence that another man was present at the time.

Prosecutors say they will seek capital punishment if Warrick is convicted of first-degree murder.
