ELLISBURG, N.Y. (AP) - State police are investigating the cause of a weekend crash in northern New York that killed a Rochester woman and two other people.

Troopers say 25-year-old Raymond Zayas of Rochester was driving on state Route 3 Saturday afternoon when he made a left-hand turn into the path of pickup truck in the Jefferson County town of Ellisburg, 45 miles north of Syracuse.

Police say the impact caused both vehicles to become airborne and overturn several times.

A woman riding in the Zayas vehicle, 21-year-old Juliana Cruz of Rochester, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers say a 15-year-old boy riding in the back seat is listed in stable condition at Syracuse hospital. A third passenger suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
