DEERFIELD BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are searching for a person who stabbed someone in what authorities are calling a road-rage incident in South Florida.

Florida Highway Patrol spokesman Sgt. Mark Wysocky says two cars were headed south along Interstate 95 in Deerfield Beach on Monday afternoon when on one of the cars pulled over and the other followed.

Wysocky says the passenger of one car and the driver of the other got out of their vehicles. The passenger was then stabbed during the ensuing confrontation and was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Wysocky says authorities have a description of the other vehicle involved in the stabbing, but they did not release it to the public on Monday evening.

It was not immediately known what led to the argument.
