BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (AP) - Police in Bloomington say two people were stabbed and a third assaulted in attacks in the central Illinois city’s business district.

Bloomington police say they have made one arrest in connection with the Wednesday attacks. The incidents are still being investigated and further information about the arrest was not immediately available.

According to police and officials at the McLean County Museum of History, one person was stabbed in the knee and another “scuffed up and knocked around” near the museum.

A third person was stabbed twice while working near the parking lot of the Pantagraph newspaper.

All three victims were taken to area hospitals, though information about their conditions was not immediately available.
