BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - A man with 24 traffic violation convictions is back in court for his third charge of leading police on a high-speed chase.

The Billings Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/1E5HuNP ) that 21-year-old Zachary Allan Hankel appeared in court Tuesday. According to court documents, he was arrested for chases in September 2013 and June and July 2015.

The documents say he forced another car into a ditch last month and drove 90 mph in a 55 mph zone.

Officers say they set up spikes but Hankel continued to drive with four punctured tires.

Documents say the 2013 arrest stems from a chase in which Hankel went through four red lights, four stop signs, made a bad pass, drove in the center lane and drove 70 mph on city streets.

His next sentencing is in September.
