BOULDER CITY, Nev. (AP) - A search crew looking for a fisherman who went missing in Lake Mead eight days ago has recovered the body of a man.

The National Park Service said Wednesday that the body was recovered Tuesday morning by volunteers using an underwater camera near Middle Point in the Virgin Basin.

The Clark County coroner’s office said the man has not been identified.

Authorities have been searching the area for a 67-year-old man who went fishing and is thought to have launched his boat about 4 a.m. on Aug. 10 at Callville Bay.

The 17-foot BassCat boat was found floating about 5 p.m. that night in the Virgin Basin but the man has been missing ever since.
