SALEM, Ore. (AP) - Former Gov. John Kitzhaber’s fiancee, Cylvia Hayes, has turned over thousands of her emails to the Marion County Circuit Court.

The emails were delivered on a thumb drive on Wednesday, two weeks after Judge Tracy Prall sided with the Oregonian in a public records dispute. Earlier this year, Hayes filed a lawsuit seeking to block the release, saying she was not a public official subject to the state’s open records law.

Under Prall’s order, court staff will review the records and flag emails that are subject to the Oregonian’s public records request.

Kitzhaber resigned in February amid allegations that Hayes did private consulting work for organizations seeking to influence state policies.
