FORT DUCHESNE, Utah (AP) - Uintah County sheriff’s deputies have released the name of a toddler who was killed Sunday after a relative backed over her in a pickup truck.

The Deseret News reports (https://bit.ly/1hLYsqE ) that 1-year-old Turquoise Christensen died Sunday. Deputies say a family member went outside to turn a truck around and did not see that the girl had walked behind the truck.

Uintah County Sheriff’s Lt. John Laursen characterized the girl’s death as a tragic accident.

Deputies say the family is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
