MADISON, Wis. (AP) - Police say a domestic dispute led to a stabbing that caused the death of a man in Madison.

The injured man was found in the entryway of an apartment building on the south side Tuesday afternoon. The 31-year-old man was rushed to University Hospital where he later died.

A 25-year-old woman was taken into custody for questioning. The State Journal (https://bit.ly/1WEkmvU ) reports police had been called to the apartment building earlier in the day where the man was accused of trying to hit the woman and a small child with a vehicle in the parking lot. He fled before officers arrived.

Police were called back to the apartments later on a report that the woman was armed with a knife.
