MARIANNA, Pa. (AP) - State police are trying to find five people who used automatic teller machines using debit card information illegally collected from a card skimmer on a western Pennsylvania gas pump.

The skimmers read the electronic strip on the cards and can also steal PIN numbers used when people paid for gas at the pump. Police say that happened at the Lone Pine One Stop Exxon station in Amwell Township, Washington County in May.

Bank account information stolen by the skimmer was later used by the five suspects to make withdrawals at ATM machines in Pittsburgh and the suburbs of Brentwood and Whitehall since July.

ATMs automatically record pictures of customers, and police on Wednesday released images of five people who used the stolen information in hopes the public can identify them.
