FLORISSANT, Mo. (AP) - A 59-year-old man is charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action after turning himself in for a fatal shooting inside a St. Louis area convenience store restroom.

Police say Silver Franklin of north St. Louis County saw a surveillance photo of himself on the news and called police on Monday. He is jailed on $1 million cash-only bond.

Franklin is accused of fatally shooting 26-year-old Donte Woodson about 10 a.m. Sunday in the restroom of a QuikTrip store near Florissant. Police have not discussed a motive for the shooting.
