HARRISBURG, Pa. (AP) - A woman says her ex-boyfriend doused his Pennsylvania mobile home with gasoline and set it on fire hours after the pair argued and he told her to leave his home in 2011.

PennLive.com reports (https://bit.ly/1J473f7 ) Teresa Lindt testified Tuesday that she and Christopher Gessner were inside the Washington Township trailer when it ignited. She escaped, but suffered second-degree burns on both her legs.

Lindt made her testimony on the second day of Gessner’s trial on attempted murder and arson charges. He’s also accused of later trying to hire a fellow prison inmate to kill Lindt.

Defense attorney Paul Kovatch says Gessner planned only to kill himself and never tried to stop her from leaving the home.
