SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Drivers in Vermont are taking their frustrations over shoddy parking to the Internet.

WPTZ-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1LmImQY ) more than a dozen posts have been made on Craigslist shaming drivers for the way they park. The thread calls out drivers using photos of the cars and license plates.

South Burlington Police Chief Trevor Whipple says he’s worried about some of the posts that come across as threatening. He says officers “never know” when someone might act upon their threats.

Attorney Jared Carter says there’s a question of whether posts that include names and addresses could be construed as defamation in court.

Vermont law forbids people from harassing others using electronic communication.
