DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover Police say a fingerprint on a note a robber gave to a store clerk has led to an arrest.

Officers say on Aug. 13, a man entered the Dollar Tree on North DuPont Highway and gave an employee a note saying he was armed and demanding money.

Police say during the robbery the suspect pulled a black firearm from his shorts and pointed it at employees. The employees gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash and he fled, leaving the note behind.

Detectives processed the note for fingerprints and say a match was made.

Officers say 28-year-old Sean Wayda of Laurel, Maryland, was arrested in Maryland last week on a fugitive warrant and is awaiting extradition to Delaware.
