PHOENIX (AP) - Gasoline prices around Arizona are lower again at the pumps this week, but still higher than the national average.

Officials with Triple-A Arizona said Thursday the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $2.68 a gallon. That’s down by more than 3 cents from last week.

This week’s national average is $2.65 per gallon, up by more than 3 cents from last week.

Triple-A analysts say gasoline prices around Arizona should continue to fall in the coming weeks, barring unforeseen circumstances.

Tucson has Arizona’s lowest average gasoline price at $2.42 a gallon and Flagstaff the highest at $2.91 per gallon.

South Carolina has the lowest average gas prices among states in the continental U.S. at $2.16 a gallon with California has the highest at $3.54.
