PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (AP) - The U.S. Marshals Service says a man charged with killing another man in West Virginia has been arrested in Chicago.

The agency says in a news release that 30-year-old James Brandjes of Parkersburg is awaiting extradition to West Virginia.

The U.S. Marshals Service Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Brandjes without incident on Wednesday in the Lincoln Park area of Chicago.

The agency says the task force had received information from deputy U.S. marshals in Charleston that Brandjes was in the Lincoln Park area.

Brandjes is accused of killing Mark Weaver on July 25 at Weaver’s home in Parkersburg.
