BEND, Ore. (AP) - A Redmond physician may have her medical license revoked following an investigation that found flaws in her clinical judgment and prescribing practices.

The Bend Bulletin reports (https://bit.ly/1E6Zojg ) the Oregon Medical Board has accused Dr. Rose Kenny, a physician at the Family Care Center, of repeatedly ordering unnecessary tests and prescribing unnecessary medications to multiple patients.

The board alleges that Kenny inappropriately prescribed testosterone, pain medication and antibiotics, with patients, in some cases, suffering serious side effects.

The board revealed the results of an assessment in an Aug. 7 complaint against Kenny that found her medical knowledge to be “adequate, with gaps.”

Kenny, who earned her medical degree in 1995 from the Tufts University School of Medicine, says she is cooperating with the board during its inquiry.
