ELIZABETH, N.J. (AP) - A Newark woman is expected to be sentenced to 22 years in prison for the fatal shooting of another woman outside an Elizabeth nightclub nearly four years ago.

The Home News Tribune reports (https://mycj.co/1hNx23x ) 24-year-old Tiffany Moore pleaded guilty Tuesday to aggravated manslaughter in connection with the Sept. 22, 2011 death of 19-year-old Felicia Hester.

Prosecutors say Elizabeth police officers called to the Coco Bongo nightclub on North Broad and Mary streets found Hester suffering from a gunshot wound. She was transported to Newark’s University Hospital, where she died two days later.

An investigation by the Union County Homicide Task Force with assistance from county sheriffs led to Moore being charged in the death less than a week after the shooting.

Sentencing is scheduled for Nov. 12.
