PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon man has been accused of using eBay to sell high-end cameras that did not exist.

Court documents filed Wednesday in Eugene show Erik Johnson has been indicted on federal charges of wire fraud and money laundering.

The indictment states Johnson defrauded scores of customers in Oregon and other states in 2011. It says he received more than $180,000 in payments while filling less than 5 percent of the orders made through eBay.

Prosecutors are seeking the forfeiture of a Hummer and an expensive watch.

Johnson, previously of La Pine, is an inmate at the Deer Ridge Correctional Institution in Madras. His initial court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 8 in Eugene.
