MIAMI (AP) - Two South Florida hospitality groups have a message for hard-working hotel and restaurant workers: Take a break.

Earlier in August, they launched the summer wellness program, which offers special rates for hospitality industry workers who want to take a local getaway through Sept. 30.

The Miami Herald (https://hrld.us/1Kxgunl ) reports the Greater Miami & The Beaches Hotel Association and the South Florida Hospitality Human Resources Association have signed on nearly 20 hotels to offer the special rates.

Charlotte Prescott who is director of the spa and fitness at the Biltmore in Coral Gables says it’s the best time of year for hospitality workers to take a break.

The Biltmore is among those offering deals, with $149-a-night rooms available to hospitality workers.
