ATLANTA (AP) - Police hope a sketch of one suspect and video surveillance footage help them to identify four suspects accused of attacking an Atlanta family.

Authorities say Michael Lash was trying to protect his family when he was shot in both of his legs by the gunmen, who stormed into his Atlanta home Sunday evening.

Lash’s relatives tell WSB-TV (https://bit.ly/1E6UVwS) that they expect him to be released from a hospital this week.

Atlanta police say Michael Lash, his wife Whitney, their 2-year-old son and infant daughter had just returned home when four men knocked on their front door Sunday evening and then forced their way inside.

Police said Whitney grabbed her infant daughter and the suspects fired twice at her and the baby, but missed. She escaped to a neighbor’s home.
