FRESNO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a dozen children complained of head pain following a school bus collision in Fresno.

Pete Martinez, a spokesman for the Fresno Fire Department, says crews responded Thursday morning after a Fresno Unified School bus and a vehicle collided in the northwest part of the city, causing minor injuries.

KFSN (https://abc30.tv/1UVnbak ) reports that the California Highway Patrol says it appears a car was making a U-turn, and turned directly into the path of the bus.

The bus was carrying students to a middle school in the area. No one was transported to the hospital by ambulance. One student was taken to a medical clinic by a parent.

The collision remains under investigation.
