BISBEE, Ariz. (AP) - The sentencing for a former teacher at a southeastern Arizona high school charged with having sexual contact with a student has been pushed back.

The Sierra Vista Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1NxLlFB ) 35-year-old Marie Donaldson’s sentencing, which was set for August, has been moved to Sept. 14. Donaldson, who taught at the school in San Simon, is accused of having sexual contact with a 15-year-old boy over several months.

Donaldson had been accused of 10 felony counts of performing sex acts on a minor. She agreed to plead guilty to two lesser felonies as part of a plea deal in June, but a judge has deferred accepting the deal until her sentencing.
