BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - The University of Mary men’s soccer team is spending some time in the Caribbean.

The Bismarck school says the team is spending about six days in Haiti as part of preseason training. The squad left Wednesday and is returning Tuesday.

Team members are meeting with the president of the Haitian Football Federation, playing matches against a couple of Haitian teams and participating in a youth soccer camp.

The Marauders begin regular season play on Sept. 4 in Iowa against Maryville University.
