IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - An 18-year-old man is in custody on a second-degree murder charge related to the death of a man found on an Idaho Falls park play structure.

The Post Register reports (https://bit.ly/1EHQPGC) Brian J. Mitchell was arrested Thursday and appeared before District Judge Jason Walker via video that afternoon. His bond has been set at $500,000.

The body of 31-year-old Deraek Patrick Larson was discovered Sunday. Idaho Falls Police Chief Mark McBride says Larson was stabbed more than 20 times.

Autopsy results are pending.

Mitchell will appear in court Sept. 2 for a preliminary hearing.
