SEATTLE (AP) - The Seattle Fire Department says two toddlers were seriously injured when they fell roughly 30 feet from the window of a West Seattle apartment.

KOMO-TV reports (https://is.gd/tOjYcU ) that the 1- and 2-year-old boys fell from the third floor window at about 6:30 p.m. Thursday. Both were rushed to Harborview Medical Center in serious condition.

Neighbor John Matthews said he was in his own apartment when he heard a woman scream. He said one of the babies was bleeding badly from his head.

Police are investigating, but they say it appears to have been an accident.
