ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Three people have been burned after being exposed to nitric acid at a semi-conductor manufacturing plant in southwest Albuquerque.

Albuquerque Fire Department officials say hazmat units were called to the Analytical Solutions plant about 2:30 p.m. Friday.

They say one person was severely burned while the other two victims had minor burns.

All three people were transported to University of New Mexico Hospital in stable condition.

Fire Department officials say the cause of the accident isn’t immediately known.
