BEAVER FALLS, Pa. (AP) - A Buffalo, New York-based customer service company plans to open a call center in western Pennsylvania once it hires 50 people to work there.

Officials with Center One LLC tell the Beaver County Times (https://bit.ly/1Ja8Hfg ) that the company will contract with unspecified credit card companies to have workers take customer service calls at the center in Beaver Falls. That’s about 30 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

The company’s president, Larry Costa, and Bethany Williams, the director of community development in Beaver Falls, aren’t sure when the center will open.

That’s because Williams says the company wants to fill the jobs before committing to an opening date. The company has already signed a lease to occupy office space.
