CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - An aluminum product manufacturer in Jackson County has gotten preliminary approval for a $15 million state loan.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports (https://bit.ly/1WHF7qA ) Constellium Rolled Products received preliminary approval from the West Virginia Economic Development Association on Thursday.

Constellium is the largest employer in Jackson County. It plans to use the low-interest loan to install new equipment at its Ravenswood facility.

Once that equipment is installed, the company could employ 18 more people. The plant now employs 1,006 people.
