ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - Authorities say a Monmouth County man is facing an indictment on charges he punched another man at an Atlantic City Casino who later died.

Atlantic County Prosecutor John McClain said Friday Matthew Piazza, of Manalapan, was indicted on Wednesday on a charge of reckless manslaughter.

The prosecutor says Piazza punched Thomas Walker, of Howell, causing a head injury and later death.

Prosecutors earlier said Walker suffered a head injury when he fell at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in the early morning hours of Nov. 1.

He died there from his injuries on Nov. 15.

No further details were released about the accident.

Piazza surrendered to authorities Thursday and is in the Atlantic County Justice Facility in lieu of $100,000 bail.

It is not clear who is legally representing Piazza.
