MILLVILLE, Utah (AP) - A grenade sighting near an elementary school in Cache County caused a scare Friday morning before authorities determined it was just a paintball grenade.

The Herald Journal newspaper in Logan (https://bit.ly/1JqDic1 ) reports that Cache County Sheriff’s Office closed the street in Millville for about one hour until the bomb squad determined it wasn’t dangerous.

Chief Deputy Matt Bilodeau says the paintball grenade was enclosed in a metal case and had a pin, which made it look like a real grenade. He says that paintball grenades shoot out paint when they are thrown.

The grenade was spotted by somebody riding a bike in the area.
