WEST CHESTER, Ohio (AP) - There will be visitation services Friday evening in southwest Ohio for a soldier who served in Afghanistan and Iraq and with the Golden Knights skydiving team.

Master Sgt. Corey Hood of West Chester just north of Cincinnati died Sunday in a Chicago hospital of injuries suffered in an accident during a parachute stunt Saturday at the Chicago Air & Water Show.

The 32-year-old Army veteran served five tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan and earned numerous awards, including two Bronze Stars.

A funeral home says visitation will be Friday at West Chester Church of the Nazarene. The funeral will be Saturday morning at Lakota West High School, with private burial afterward.

Survivors include his wife Lyndsay, his parents, and four siblings.

He was promoted posthumously from Sgt. 1st Class.
