GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Hundreds of dental professionals and volunteers are gathering in Greenville to offer two days of free dental services for those who have none.

Dental Access Days begins Friday at the TD Conventional Center. Adults 18 and older are able to access care on a first-come first-served basis from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.

South Carolina Dental Association and Delta Dental are sponsoring the event.

All participants get S-rays and are evaluated to check for the most needed care. Patients could get cleanings, extractions or fillings. Dentures will not be provided.

Organizers expect more than 1,000 attendees. Long lines are expected. Water will be provided. Attendees may bring snacks, portable seats and sun protection.
