COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - A Colorado Springs teenager who was involved in a crash that killed her younger brother has pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide.

The Gazette reports (https://goo.gl/TXnpmU ) 19-year-old Erin Lanosga entered her plea Friday for the May 20 death of 16-year-old Ryan Lanosga. She is scheduled to be sentenced Nov. 6.

An arrest affidavit says Erin Lanosga told police she was drinking before her pickup “slid out,” hit a rock and rolled several times in Garden of the Gods Park.

Police say she had slurred speech and could not complete a roadside sobriety test. She faces up to six years in prison.
