ATLANTA (AP) - Actor Chris Tucker will host a celebrity golf tournament to help scholarship programs and homelessness initiatives.

Entertainers and athletes from Vince Carter, Lorenze Tate, Kenny Leon and Ahmad Rashad are expected to attend Tucker’s second annual event on Saturday morning. There will also be an awards dinner in the afternoon.

Proceeds will go toward scholarship programs along with homeliness initiatives lead by New Life Tabernacle of God. The golf event will be held in Locust Grove, Georgia, which is south of Atlanta.

Tucker is best known for starring in the “Rush Hour” film franchise opposite of Jackie Chan. The comedian’s other film credits include “Friday,” ”Money Talks” and “The Fifth Element.”
