FAIRFIELD, Ohio (AP) - An iconic food business that started as a produce stand in a northern Cincinnati suburb will cap its 40th anniversary with a bang.

A weeklong celebration by Jungle Jim’s International Market wraps up Saturday night with a fireworks show.

Jungle Jim’s brings money-spending customers from other states to shop its selection of hard-to-find international foods, wines and beers. Its event center also regularly hosts food festivals and events. The store is hosting more events this year including cigar and international wine festivals.

The celebration festivities at both its Fairfield home and a newer location in Clermont County east of Cincinnati have offered birthday cookies, face paintings and food trucks.
