BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Paul McCartney has included a stop in Buffalo to his “Out There” tour.

It will be the first time that the 73-year-old former Beatle has ever played in the western New York city. He’ll appear at the First Niagara Center on Oct. 22.

Concert promoter AEG says Tuesday that Buffalo is one of five recently announced stops for the tour. He’ll also be in Columbus, Ohio; Detroit; State College, Pennsylvania, and Toronto.

Tickets go on sale Aug. 31.
