MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - U.S. Sen. Kelly Ayotte is holding a Budget Committee field hearing in New Hampshire to explore the problem of tax-related identify theft.

Witnesses at Wednesday’s hearing will include the commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service, a Strafford woman who was a victim of identity theft and an official with the National Taxpayer Advocate Service.

The hearing will be held at the University of New Hampshire’s Manchester campus.
