BURBANK, Calif. (AP) - Police say a man arrested in the death of a woman found stabbed at his Burbank home has been released, and another man has been arrested.

City News Service reports the homeowner, 49-year-old Brian Thomas Lowe, was taken into custody Monday after giving conflicting statements to detectives investigating the death of the unidentified woman.

But on Tuesday detectives located Timothy Aguilar Andrade of Hesperia, a person of interest who provided information that cleared Lowe.

Burbank Police Officer Joshua Kendrick says detectives subsequently arrested the 28-year-old Andrade on suspicion of stabbing the woman to death.

He is held in lieu of more than a $1 million bail. It wasn’t immediately known if he has a lawyer.

Police say Lowe, Andrade and the victim all knew each other, but didn’t offer additional details.
