TULLY, N.Y. (AP) - State police say a central New York motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with two deer that ran onto a road near Syracuse.

Troopers say 65-year-old Milton E. Johnson Jr. of Marrietta was driving his Harley-Davidson west on state Route 80 around 8 p.m. Tuesday when two deer entered the road in the Onondaga County town of Tully, about 10 miles south of Syracuse.

Johnson hit both deer, causing him to be ejected from the motorcycle. Troopers say he was pronounced dead at the scene.
