HILO, Hawaii (AP) - Big Island police are investigating the death of a 63-year-old woman after her body was found at her property in Puna.

The Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports (https://bit.ly/1PA6Owb ) that Puna District officers responded Tuesday night to reports of a disturbance. They found the body of Nadean Rutledge, of Pahoa, outside her home with what they call suspicious injuries.

An autopsy has been ordered to determine the exact cause of death.

Officials are investigating the death as a murder and asking anyone with information to call the department’s non-emergency line.
