BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) - A man wanted for sexually assaulting a child in Texas has been captured in Alexandria by the Louisiana Attorney General’s Fugitive Apprehension Unit.

Attorney General James “Buddy” Caldwell, in a news release Wednesday, said agents arrested 32-year-old Christopher Pryor at an Alexandria business and booked him into the Rapides Parish Jail, where he is awaiting extradition to Texas. It was unknown if Pryor has an attorney who could comment on the case.

The Fort Bend County, Texas Sheriff’s Office asked for assistance in locating Pryor, who was believed to be living in Louisiana. Caldwell says agents successfully found him in the central Louisiana city.
