SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah authorities say one worker was killed and two more were critically injured when their aluminum ladder fell from a roof and onto a power line.

Firefighters say it happened as the men worked on the roof of a gymnastics studio in Draper on Friday morning.

Unified Fire Authority spokesman David Ulibarri says it appears that the workers were moving equipment up the ladder when it accidently toppled off the building and onto the power line.

He says all three men were touching the approximately 20-foot ladder. One died at the scene, and a second was revived after he went cardiac arrest.

The two survivors were taken to a local hospital in critical condition. The men’s names were not immediately released.

Draper is about 20 miles south of Salt Lake City.
