JAMESTOWN, N.D. (AP) - Jamestown police say an early morning home invasion ended with a man being shot.

Lt. Justin Blinsky tells KQDJ radio that the man who broke into the home shortly before 12:30 a.m. Friday got into a confrontation with the homeowner and was shot. He was taken to a Fargo hospital with injuries that Blinsky says do not appear to be life-threatening.

There was another male and female in the house during the incident. Blinsky says all of the people appear to know one another.

Police are continuing to investigate what sparked the incident.
